No Words Necessary...(but I just couldn't help myself)

What's been lurking in my friend's parents' basement for the last 37 years (along with 2 large, dead spiders)...

LOVE it!

Camper, in all it's flowery, woodgrainy goodness

Ken with some super-stylin' 70s hair (and a super-nifty 1-piece sleeveless number...)

Gah!

It appears that you used to dress your Ken dolls (well at least one of them anyway!) in ladies clothing. ;) My Ken did not have any masculine clothing for quite a while until my mom got tired of Cross Dresser Ken wearing Barbie's teal velvet ball gown. Barbie didn't mind. It never really fit her. But apparently my mother finally got the hint. lol

Ha! Meriah, unfortunately they are not mine, and still reside in my friend's childhood home. Heidi - I am definitely curious about who dressed them. They have been languishing in that basement for a loooong time, and it could have been my friend, could have been her brother, who knows? Ken in Barbie's teal velvet ball gown would have been a sight to see, though... :-)

Wow!! Talk about memories! What a find that is!! So... how long did you play with it before you decided to blog about it? :)

Too funny!! You never know what treasures you'll find in a basement.

I want this. Not for my child, for me. And Meriah's idea is awesome, I mean, you could maybe ask if your friend could give it to a good cause? Like your loyal readers :)
