Four Generations

We got a chance to visit with my grandmother at her assisted living home last weekend when we were up in New Jersey.  These visits are few and far between, but I'm happy to be able to have them at all, and to have Samantha be able to see her great grandmother from time to time.  I'm not sure if Gammie really knows who we are anymore, but I know she's so happy to have such young, vibrant company (Samantha, not me...).

These are the best pictures! Claire has never met her great-grandma and that is something we really need to do soon!

Lucky Gammie!

And, I'm rather jealous, I miss my grandmothers - though the older I get, the more I realize they really aren't that far away :o)

Im so thankful my older three were able to meet their great grandmas and really know them before they passed.(when we relocated we were very close to them both)We only have one great grandparent left now. Was able to spend alot of time with him this weekend. He is slowing down but doing great still.

LOVE! My grandma died in February and seeing Alayna was her biggest delight. I am sure your grandma's day was brightened by your sweet visit.

Such a great experience for all I am betting. We got a five-generation shot right after Abby was born, which I thought was lame at the time but am SO glad we did in retrospect.
