I'd like to preface this with something that's been weighing heavily on me. I heard a woman in Japan on the news the other night tell of losing her grip on her daughter's hand in the flood waters this week. If you pray, please pray for the people in Japan. If you don't pray, please keep them all in your thoughts. But please, please, please, hug your children tightly, take nothing for granted, and treasure every moment together.
A moment to keep forever, as most moments are.
A beautiful day with a sneak-peek of the weather-to-come...sunny, mild, tantalizing...
A perfect day for my little sunflower/buttercup/pumpkin/sweet pea/bunny/butterfly...so many names picked ripe from nature...it's a wonder she responds to any of them, let alone all...
She's my flower child, my blue-eyed princess, my angel...bright as the sun and sweet as honeysuckle, my hates-to-get-her-hands-dirty gurly-girl...

She's so sweet, love that last one!
Definitely thinking about the people in Japan and keeping them in my prayers!
She is so adorable! I love the jean jacket. Roo needs one. As for Japan, I've been praying daily, but it is so hard for me to even wrap my mind around what they are going through. It makes my daily experiences seem so very minor in comparison.
That girl is STUNNINGLY beautiful. And I loooove your photography!
Praying with you for everyone touched in Japan. I cried when I heard that mother who lost her child's hand, devastating.
Sammi you brighten up my day with your beauty!
That story broke my heart too, I cant even imagine going through something like that...
So, can you fly up to my house with your camera and take pictures of my kids!!! lol
I LOVE your photos, they are just so beautiful!
What happened in Japan is my worst nightmare. I imagine it would be a nightmare for any parent. I can't even read the stories coming from there becasue my heart is already broken. All I do is pray and pray.
On a different note, Sammi is so friggin adorable. I love seeing all the little things she does. It makes me look forward to the days ahead with my Eslea. :))
Once again,a lesson,at the tragic expense of others,to love deeper, hold tighter and pray harder.Perspective gained and recognized,in the wake of such sadness.
Beautiful photos of your beautiful, beautiful girl.
Gorgeous as always!
Thank you for sharing your sweet thoughts. Tragedy is all around us and being grateful for the beauty is what makes life more heartfelt. I'm praying for the people of Japan too. I can't even imagine, but it's refreshing to hear your positive attitude and love for your little girl!
That is awesomeness all over - we have had a wonderful weather week out here too. Just ready for spring to keep on coming!
I love the dirty hands picture!! I'm not much for dirt either. :)
