So we were really well-behaved. Having said that, I thought it would be easy to "just explain" why or why not something could/should be done. With Lindsey, the explanations were ad nauseum. I often felt exhausted. In reality, they are just being kids. But we still have a job to do of keeping them safe and teaching them that they can't act upon every single impulse. You are doing a fantastic job with Samantha. Every kid is different. So every situation and discipline decision will be different too. I'm just glad we raised (are raising) happy kids. <br />Linda Atwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12938166854117489339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1665234671536662968.post-29191372989690602222014-01-30T11:58:48.151-05:002014-01-30T11:58:48.151-05:00We are the same way with our kids. But they are kids....which is why we have to teach them there are expectations to behavior. If we wait, then we could be in big trouble. Owen, like Sammi, is often referred to as a very good kid and he is most of the time. And I'm happy with that! Let's hope the trend continues. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913754866057778005noreply@blogger.com
